There’s no doubt deployment sucks. And it will continue to suck until he’s home again. Im so ready to have him safe back home with me where he belongs. I love him more than words could begin to express. I’m just so lucky he is mine forever. So deployment you can kiss my ass cause we are stronger than you.

It's best to be hopeful. When I served in the US Navy, my wife and I had a lot of doubts if our dating would work (@ the time we were not married) we just got married this month after 6 yrs. she decides to enlist in the US MARINES and currently at MCT. Pretty sad
How some girls have to use such vulgar language about others to make themselves feel better. It just shows who is mature and who is stil stuck in high school.

Here's my rant for the month
It’s sad that some MilS/o’s give all of us a bad name. We are supposed to stick together through the times we are separated from our men. And even when we arent. Some girls have some balls to talk about someone else’s relationship. Here’s a tip, worry about your own. Who cares how long they were together before getting married? I was with Adam for one month before he...

Did you know,
loveofatravelingsoldier: Military members who get deployed can often be seen wearing a backwards flag on their uniform. Why? Because soldiers used to march into battle following a flag. Someone would march ahead of them waving the flag of our country, and to the soldiers marching forward, the flag was backwards. Today, the backwards flag on a soldier’s uniform symbolizes bravery. It’s a...

Lord give me the strength
My brother called today and told me he’s deploying tomorrow. Not only is my husband deployed already but now my brother. Two. Two of the most important people in my lives are overseas defending our country. I couldn’t be more proud of them. But why. I can’t lose either. This is my brother’s second tour. He was involved in many fire-fights last tour and was inches away...

Get over it
I understand 150% you miss your guy. But don’t complain 24/7. Do you not have a life? Missing him whether he’s in the field, basic, deployed, or just at work is understandable. Just don’t complain like a baby when he’s gone. He doesn’t need that. He needs support, love, and happiness. Not depression, complaining, and sadness. Just get over it and support your man....
